Description

A refreshing detox island green smoothie with spinach, kale, pineapple, mango, banana, and ginger. This homemade version is light, nutritious, and naturally sweet.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup mango chunks
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 cup coconut water (or plain water)
  • Optional: 1/2 avocado, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  1. Add liquid to the blender first.
  2. Add spinach and kale, then blend until smooth.
  3. Add banana, pineapple, mango, and ginger.
  4. Blend again until creamy and bright green.
  5. Adjust thickness with more or less liquid.
  6. Serve cold with fresh garnish.

Notes

  • You can store in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
  • For meal prep, freeze fruit and greens in portions.
  • Blend frozen packs with liquid when ready.
