Description

A simple, nourishing herbal tea made from pumpkin seeds, rich in magnesium, zinc, and fiber. Perfect for supporting digestion, curbing cravings, and aiding natural weight loss.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds (hulled)
  • 3 to 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 small cinnamon stick (optional)
  • 1-inch slice of fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, for taste)

Instructions

  1. Rinse pumpkin seeds thoroughly under cool water.
  2. Optional: Lightly roast the seeds in a dry pan for 3–4 minutes to enhance flavor.
  3. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  4. Add pumpkin seeds, and if using, the cinnamon stick and ginger.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 15–20 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the tea steep for another 5 minutes.
  7. Strain the liquid into a mug.
  8. Add honey if desired and enjoy warm.

Notes

You can prepare a large batch and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

For a creamier texture and more nutrients, blend the steeped mixture before straining.

Best enjoyed in the evening to curb late-night cravings and support digestion.
